My Dad was showing me various old photos of Portadown that he has been asked to annotate. One of the pictures was of a Mr Bob Heathwood and his family. Along with the photo, was a tribute published in the local paper that my Dad wrote in 1974, following Mr. Heathwood’s death.

It’s a totally from the heart, but beautifully written, and it is very pleasing to experience a little of my Dad’s past life as he tends to hide his light under a bushel these days.
